Eppronto’s Lardiata is a bold, authentic sauce made with tomato purée and aged lard, enriched with onions and white wine. A traditional Neapolitan peasant recipe full of character.

INGREDIENTS: Tomato purée (80%), pork lard (8.8%) (pork lard, water, salt, garlic, aromatic herbs, spices), extra virgin olive oil, onions, white wine (SULPHITES), salt.

A hearty sauce with a full, bold flavor, perfect with broken ziti or other pasta shapes that hold the sauce well.

Our tip: this is a very concentrated sauce — loosen it slightly with a little pasta cooking water. This helps the sauce cling better and brings out its full intensity.
