Our sage grows on the rocky, sunny soil of the Iblei Mountains, in the heart of southeastern Sicily, where the L'Arcolaio cooperative has launched the social agriculture business Frutti degli Iblei . Here, young migrants, former prisoners, and other vulnerable individuals find a path to redemption and social and work integration through the cultivation, harvesting, and processing of Mediterranean aromatic herbs.

Sage is grown and harvested by expert and careful hands. The same care and attention is given to drying and packaging the leaves, which preserve the intense scent of the Iblei Mountains.
