Lentils have crossed the history of humanity. It is the oldest cooked food of which there is written testimony and still today they constitute a precious supply in the pantry.
We grow lentils in fields that require periodic rotation. They are sown between December and January, in the middle of winter, when the land needs to prepare for the new season. In fact, legumes enrich the soil with nitrogen, a precious element that will also be useful for subsequent crops.

Preferably soak them a few hours before cooking. Expected cooking times 30 minutes
