Our almond basil pesto is a simple, tasty, and authentic condiment, free from garlic and cheese. We've created it to enhance the flavor of fresh basil , Sicilian almonds , and our region's extra virgin olive oil .

Genuine and local ingredients

All ingredients are carefully selected and processed within the Syracuse Prison , without the addition of preservatives or artificial flavors. The basil comes from small local farmers belonging to our ethical supply chain, such as the Beppe Montana Libera Terra Cooperative . The almonds, 100% Sicilian and organic, are peeled in our laboratory, to shorten the supply chain and ensure maximum product freshness. The extra virgin olive oil is made with typical cultivars of southeastern Sicily, such as the Tonda Iblea pressed by the Pianogrillo Company in Chiaramonte Gulfi (RG). The sea salt comes from the salt pans of the WWF Nature Reserve in Trapani .
