Recipe #3 is homemade pasta from scratch

This simple and versatile recipe is perfect for creating homemade dough that can be shaped into any form you like. With just three basic ingredients—flour, water, and salt—you can enjoy the satisfaction of crafting something from scratch. Whether you're making bread, flatbreads, or other baked goods, this dough provides a great foundation. The process is straightforward, and the resting time allows the dough to develop its texture. Keep a close eye on the cooking time to achieve the perfect result.

Ingredients for 4 people: 

- 500 gr of pasta flour

- 250 ml of lukewarm water

- a bit of salt 

Method:

  1. In a bowl, combine flour, water, and salt, mixing until a firm dough forms.
  2. Transfer the dough to a floured surface (such as a cutting board or table) and knead until it becomes elastic.
  3. Place the dough back in the bowl, cover, and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface, shaping it as desired. You can make tagliatelle, gnocchetti, cavatelli, orecchiette, busiate, or any shape you like!
  5. Cook for a few minutes, keeping a close eye on it to avoid overcooking.

- Tomato sauce with basil
