Tasty eggplants from Sardegna
Eggplants preserved in oil are the preserve par excellence of the Italian food and wine tradition. At Ayo' we prefer black eggplants, as their pulp is compact and more resistant to pasteurization. They are cut into slices, seasoned with oregano and chili pepper which give them a fresh and delicious taste and are then preserved in sunflower oil. They are excellent as an appetizer, a side dish for meat and cheese or to enrich your gourmet sandwiches.
Ingredients:
Aubergines 62%, Sunflower seed oil, Extra virgin olive oil, Thyme, Garlic, Parsley, Chilli, Black pepper, Wine vinegar, Salt, Sugar. Acidity regulator: Lactic acid.
